Bocouture, like Botox, is a injectable type of Botulinum Toxin A and is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles. Bocouture was developed in the UK in 2008 and was licensed for cosmetic use in July 2010. It is used to treat all fine lines and wrinkles that are associated with aging due to facial muscle movements. Bocouture is fast becoming the treatment of choice for many patients that have previously had botox. It is available in a wide range of clinics throughout the UK and has been used to varying degrees of success by different patients. However many people have tried Bocouture and found it to significantly reduce the signs of aging.
The cost of Bocouture treatment can vary depending on what is needed to be done and where. Most clinics charge by what area is been treated. Crow’s feet, forehead lines and glabellar lines all have a different price. Treatments usually cost from £175 - £300 per treatment. A discount will usually be available if you are having more than one procedure done at the same time. So all three types of wrinkles could potentially be treated for £500 or under.
Bocouture is considered a safe treatment. However there are some known risks to having any type of Botulinum Toxin A injections. In some cases the patient can have an allergic reaction to the drug. Migraines sufferers have reported them getting worse or better after treatment. It can cause droopiness of the eyelid or puffiness.
